This tour is designed to discover the Hill Country and the Tea plantations in the Central Highlands. You will be visiting the hill capital Kandy (UNESCO World Heritage site), the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka and the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic and Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as "Little England".
You will pass the scenic landscapes of Sri Lanka during this tour and will be amazed by the splendid waterfalls. You will not miss the misty mountains covered with lush green tea bushes and will be able to visit a working tea factory.
A visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala is included in the tour and further you will visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya and Horton Plains – a UNESCO World Heritage site.
You are also staying one night in vibrant Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
