This tour has been specially designed to provide a quick flavor of the country's ancient heritage with a twist of modern culture.
You will be starting the tour by spending one night in the fishing village of Negombo where you will get the opportunity of visiting one of the wet fish markets in Negombo.
You will be visiting Three out of Eight UNESCO world heritage sites including the Cave Temple Complex of Dambulla, world famous frescoes at Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Kandy city, the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka and the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
You will be visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya and witness a Kandyan Dance Performance and a Cultural Show.
A visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala is included en-route to Colombo from Kandy. You will visit the Minneriya National Park by a Safari Jeep where you will be able to see the Elephants in their natural habitat.
You will be ending this mini tour by visiting Independence square, Independence Square arcade, Gangaramaya Temple and Simamalakaya on Beira Lake and shopping Arcades in vibrant Colombo.
You also have an option to extend your stay relaxing at the world famous south coast beaches.
