Kanchana is the main restaurant of Heritance Kandalama hotel situated on the sixth floor, with full-length glass windows providing superlative views over the lake. By day you might spot purple-rumped sunbird sipping nectar from the flowering shrubs planted outside; in the evening, candlelight reflects off the carefully crafted metal tree sculptures, creating a more intimate ambience. "Ritigala Pauwwa" is the open lounge bar at Cinnamon Village Habarana. The restaurant is situated 20Kms (12 Miles) away from Dambulla city and this open lounge bar faces the pool and the gardens, with a bit of the lake on the horizon. The bar itself serves both local and imported spirits and also a range of delectable teas and coffees. Snacks can also be enjoyed here and you can even ask the staff for a menu from the adjoining à la carte eatery, "Panthaliya". Panthaliya is the resort's à la carte outlet and can be found between the main restaurant and the bar. The venue serves warm drinks and has an extensive snack menu. The real fun, however, lies with the many visitors to the gardens. First you'll notice the birds twittering and then squirrels.
